People often think that knowing the English language and your own native language is enough to get you by, but what is often forgotten is that there is a need to expand one's vocabulary. Learning a few hundred foreign words is the first step in doing so. 

1)      A cappella– means “according to the chapel” or “in the manner of the chapel”
2)      A fortiori- for a still stronger reason; even more certain; all the more.
